The Evesham Ultra & Half Marathon offer two different ways to enjoy spring trail running. The races start at The Northwick Hotel along the River Avon in market town of Evesham. Both routes take runners along the banks of the Avon before heading towards Bredon Hill on the edge of the Cotswolds Area of Natural Beauty. The half marathon approaches the hill before turning around to allow the runners to enjoy a relatively flat run to the finish. For the ultrarunners, Bredon is the first of seven hills offering a combined 4000+ feet of ascent before the gentle descent back to the river's edge.
