The event is organised as being a celebration of the Peak District’s Birthday for hikers and runners, it aims to promote the #peakdistrictproud campaign and the broader objectives of the Foundation, as well as being a fundraiser for their charity. rnIt is a trail race for runners and challenge event for long distance hikers, based from the Peveril Centre in Castleton, with options of 70 kilometer and 30 kilometer routes.
